Sarturn L Series Safety
Safety has always been a concern for new vehicle
buyers. With the Saturn L Series,
however, all those safety concerns can simply be thrown away. Equipped with reliable Saturn L Series parts,
traditional safety components like Saturn Alloy wheels, and standard safety features like airbags and
ABS brakes, rides can never be safer with a Saturn L Series sedan or wagon.
The L series is competent in emergency maneuvers. Cornering
is predictable and relatively flat and the steering is reasonably quick, though
somewhat numb. Braking (front disc/rear drum on base cars, disc/disc on upscale
models) is also quite respectable.

An anti-lock package with traction control has been
optional. Newer models have standard curtain bags for rows 1 and 2, 4 wheel
ABS, traction control, daytime running lights, adjustable front and rear upper
belt, seatbelt extenders, additional webbing inches for both driver and
passenger, energy management feature, integrated safety belt, rear center/ lap
shoulder belt, rear seat head restraint and anti-theft features. The IIHS
overall frontal crash test result for the
Saturn L Series is ( A ) acceptable.
